I’m Renée Ledford a Toronto area life coach, facilitator, and speaker. Whether it’s chatting to young ladies about the importance of self love or helping women identify their next step; I am passionate about building other women up. At a young age I knew that I was put on this earth to support others. With a genuine joy for seeing others achieve their personal best I knew that this was something I had to pursue. With a major life event in 2017 I realized that it was time for me to inspire others by jumping out of my comfort zone.
My favourite saying is “Today is not your forever”. Too often we find ourselves feeling trapped in our circumstances. I’m here to tell you (regardless of how cheesy it may sound) that it’s never too late. It doesn’t even have to wait until next week, Monday, or tomorrow. As a devoted wife and compassionate mother of two Grit-ty Girls in training I find that with so many negative ideals bombarding women constantly my desire to create a safe a healthy community for women has almost become overwhelming. When I think of the challenges I faced in my childhood, it’s left me wanting to be for other young girls what I always wanted for myself. My passion to support and encourage others in becoming their best self led me to pursue education in psychology, social services, and life coaching. Along with my educational background, I have over 15 years experience working with women and youth; both in volunteer and employment capacities. I have also developed and facilitated various community programs as well as workshops (ex. communication, self care, self esteem etc.).
